Heed the Prophets

Privacy

Last updated November 2, 2026

Heed the Prophets collects nothing about you. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking. This page covers the website at heedtheprophets.org and the Heed the Prophets phone apps.

Your progress stays on your device

What you’ve checked off, your favorites and tags, your queue, your place in each talk, your filters and your playback speed are saved only on your device: in your browser’s storage on the website, or in the app’s own storage in the apps. They aren’t sent anywhere. Export progress saves a copy as a file, which goes only where you put it.

Clearing your browser’s cookies and site data, or deleting the app, erases that progress. Heed the Prophets has no copy to restore it from.

What the servers see

The website and the narration are delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, it has to receive your IP address and basic details of each request (which file, and which browser or app) in order to send it, and it uses them to block abuse. Cloudflare shows the site’s owner overall totals, such as the number of requests and the countries they come from, plus details of any requests it blocks as abuse. None of this is used to identify anyone.

Heed the Prophets sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor isn’t an automated program. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Read ↗ and similar links open other websites, such as BYU’s Scripture Citation Index (scriptures.byu.edu). Those sites have their own privacy policies.

If you email

If you write to report a problem, your message and email address are used only to reply and to fix the problem. They aren’t shared or added to any list.

Children

Nothing is collected from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this ever changes (for example, an optional code to carry your progress between devices), this page will say so before the change, with a new date at the top.
